Wyre Forest Swimming Club
Wyre Forest Swimming Club has been teaching children to swim for over twenty years.
In our lessons we follow the ASA British Gas Framework for Teaching Swimming, which means that each child moves to the next stage of their progression when they are ready to do so, without pressure to advance before they are fully prepared.

As a competitive swimming club, we also aim to instill into young swimmers a love of swimming as a skill for life.
And, if they are interested, we can introduce them to the exciting world of competitive swimming from the age of 8.

As a result many of the young swimmers who attend our lessons continue swimming with the club after they have completed all of their badges and many have progressed to compete at the highest levels.

One of the current GB Internationals hopeful of gaining medals at the 2012 Olympics is WFSC member and successful international swimmer, Amy Smith.
Amy started her journey into a successful swimming career in the club's Learn to Swim Programme and still competes for the club.
