The Teaching Team
The Wyre Forest Swimming Club Learn to Swim scheme is delivered by the Lead Swimming Development Teacher, Tim Hastie (pictured below), and a teaching team which includes a blend of younger teachers and those with many years experience..

Tim also works in conjunction with the Head Coach, and other senior members of the club's coaching team, to choose the right progression path for all swimmers, once they have completed levels 1 to 5 of the ASA Learn to Swim Framework.

Our teachers are ASA accredited and are assisted in the teaching sessions by helpers from the club who are all swimmers, and many of them started swimming in the Club's Learn to Swim Scheme.
Our sessions follow the ASA Learn to Swim Framework and all of our teachers are trained to give each of the young swimmers in the Programme the confidence to move from that first toe in the water to learn the skills and techniques that will stay with them for life.
